Men are often earners and are expected to be strong, and dominant. This isn’t bad in nature, but it can make it difficult for men to seek help and open up.

The main symptom of despair is usually a feeling of sadness, but compared to women, men may feel angry, more competitive, and more likely to interact with substance abuse. Many men may suffer from undiagnosed despair due to unique symptoms and men are generally less likely to talk to despair or seek a cure for despair.
