Why do men hesitate to contact anyone?

Social expectations and traditional gender roles influence why men are less likely to discuss or seek help with mental health issues. Men are often earners and are expected to be strong, and dominant. This isn’t bad in nature, but it can make it difficult for men to seek help and open up.
Men also are more likely to take alcohol or pills to alleviate despair than to speak about it. They also can use escapist behaviour, consisting of throwing themselves into their work.
Gambling is related to mental health problems
According to Mental Health First Aid, “gambling addiction is a mental health problem.” In addition, people with gambling addiction can cause other common mental fitness problems such as depression, anxiety, and substance use problems.
Men and depression

Many men may suffer from undiagnosed despair due to unique symptoms and men are generally less likely to talk to despair or seek a cure for despair.
Depression is not uncommon in men. Depression is a mental illness that affects a person’s thoughts, emotions, body, and behaviour. Doctors may also refer to despair as major depression, major depression, or scientific despair. One of the reasons for this is probably that men have much less analysis of despair. Depression is a significant risk factor for tipping someone over the edge towards suicide.

It is important to compare any signs with your doctor, even if they seem trivial or irrelevant. Depression affects the emotional realm of men and leads to discouragement. Apparently, men cannot express this feeling very comfortable. Changes in the emotional area can therefore become visible in different ways.
